Meal Prep Ottawa's Vegan Meal plan is designed for those of us who have chosen to live a vegan lifestyle. Going vegan is arguably one of the most ethical diets and is great for the planet and your health. For those of you who are new to the vegan diet, it centers around eating whole foods, with a wide variety of vegetables and grains, and when done in a healthy way minimizes processed foods. Vegan also excludes any foods that may have been derived from animal products like dairy, or eggs. In addition to these general guidelines, the vegan diet tends to be very high in nutritional value and lower calories than most restaurants and even other meal plans Meal Prep Ottawa offers. We also exclude generally unhealthy elements like high sodium content, MSG, minimizing Saturated Fats like Omega 6.

We generally recommend our vegan meal delivery service to customers either already eating vegan, or customers looking to make a significant change to their lifestyle in order to benefit the planet, animals and their own health. Recent studies have shown that athletes can build just as much muscle on the vegan diet when macro-nutrient and calorie balanced, and eating a whole foods plant based diet can be one of the most effective ways to lose weight quickly.

Great portions and packaging only issue was chicken meals were very bland and felt like chicken was unseasoned. All other meals and everything else was perfect thank you

Fresh and Healthy

I've been getting the Mean and Clean for awhile now and I love the food. It is fresh, healthy and convenient. I like how they change the menu weekly as to not get bored with the same food. I also like the Paleo menu as it is so healthy and low calorie/low carb. The staff in store is lovely as I often get my meals right at the store. I will continue this as long as I can as it saves me time and keeps my accountable for my macros which is written on the front of each meal! Another reason to love Meal prep!
